Individual Therapy
We offer open ended psychotherapy to individuals, helping them to create connections between current patterns of behaviour and personal history. Through exploration, our clients develop the ability to understand themselves, accept their circumstances and make positive changes to their lives and relationships. We also offer short-term counselling, which is usually more helpful for clients who have a well-defined problem/goal. Your first assessment meeting will better define what is the right course of treatment for you.
Supervision/Mentoring
We offer Clinical Supervision to trainee and professional counsellors via regular telephone or Zoom sessions. Our service supports supervises as they conceptualise their cases, resolve ethical dilemmas, manage risk and develop self-supervision skills. This service is available to individuals and small groups. We offer mentorship to those who are pursuing a career in therapy, but are facing hurdles or barriers to their process. Unlike supervision, this is a process driven structure, and is best on individual basis.
Training
We offer bespoke training for continuing professional development. Our training courses motivate professionals to refine their therapeutic practice and generate pragmatic strategies. Our training is delivered at set locations or on-site at your place of business. Aside from training therapists, we also offer emotion-based training for workplaces, examples are conflict resolution, anger-displacement, and other complex mental health related injuries in the workplace. We include packages for onsite crisis management.
Couples
A healthy relationship contains a mixture of emotions; when we come together with another, we are not just in a relationship with them, but also their past. Most relationships suffer normal and natural stresses and strains as we negotiate how we want to be with each other. It can be a struggle for us to identify our needs within a relationship. This service provides an opportunity for couples to explore their feelings, thoughts, beliefs and histories to find ways to resolve what conflicts they can and reconcile their differences.
Group Therapy
This style of support is more useful for those who are comfortable sharing experiences, or those not wanting individual support. Together, with the help of the Create-Connections therapists, we work towards developing healthy coping skills, reducing the feeling of isolation, and providing psychoeducation. We encourage healthier communication, both within ourselves and with the wider group. The service enables people to provide realistic feedback, so that clients measure themselves and their behaviour against real examples.
