We do not discuss our clients and their work with anyone else without explicit written consent. The exceptions to this are when we feel there is a serious risk to the client or others. If you are coming to us through an Employee Assistance Programme or insurance company then we will have communication with them accordingly, and as appropriate.
We also follow the BACP Ethical Framework which demands we are supervised in our practice. Supervision is conducted with a senior practitioner to ensure we practise in our clients’ best interests. We focus on the counselling work and we do not discuss names or personal details during supervision in order to retain our clients’ anonymity.
